10th Annual Norm Reeves Honda Car Show Coverage Part 1

Norm Reeves Honda Car Show

The 10th Annual Norm Reeves Honda Car Show took place this past weekend in Cerritos, CA. It’s been a while since I have attended this show, but it still has the same feel as it did 10 years ago. It’s a low-key event, but the turnout is always good. Spoon Sports USA brought their army of cars to an event for the 2nd time in as many months, and you never get tired of seeing those cars. Their NSX is always a sight to see, as is the SSA x Autofashion Rocket Bunny NSX, and Michael Mao’s newly remodeled twin-turbo NSX. I’m going to share this coverage in two parts because for one, I took a lot of pictures, and secondly, I want spend a little more time adding some commentary to these event coverage articles. With that said, here is part one…

Michael Mao’s twin-turbo NSX with its fresh new look. The red and black color combo extends to the interior as well, which is equally stunning as the exterior.

@a1espino’s CRX looks just as good in person as it does in the pictures you see on the net. The interior is flawless, and the Mugen NR10R rims are in mint condition.

The Jaimes brothers, Jose and Luis, were positioned at the very front of the show, and for good reason, their cars are amazing. Jose’s Hypnotic Teal CRX won the award for best 4th gen Civic, and Luis’s Bronze Metallic EH took home the trophy for best 5th gen Civic (No, it doesn’t have a 99-00 Civic front bumper, Chen).

I love this blue DC5 RSX, which is equipped with a Jackson Racing supercharger, and bronze TE37’s.

Symple Speed Garage’s Civic Sedan on MF8’s. This car is really clean in person, and I like it better with black mirrors, instead of the orange mirrors it was rocking at Eibach. Either way, this car is very well done.

Not sure exactly what color this Civic was. Perhaps a bright aqua of some sort.
